Frome the earliest times, when Christians gathered, they ate. There's something about having food together that says, "We're in this together."
We meet on Wednesdays for prayer, and once each month we gather for the Eucharist. Eucharist comes from the Greek word for thanksgiving. In other words it's a feast wherein we get to give thanks to God for giving us life in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ by partaking in this meal together.
All baptized Christians are welcome to join us in this feast. As Anglicans we believe that Jesus is really present in the consecrated bread and wine. Come join us in this thanksgiving feast!
Throughout the year, we will also gather for other feasts. It may be for tacos at Digg's, the cornucopia that is Umphree-Lee, any of the many other wonderful restaurants around Dallas, or even for a cookout at Canterbury House. Please join us!
